How do I backup my data?

Go to Settings → Backup & Restore → Export Data. You can export your data to Excel or PDF format and save it to your device or cloud storage.

Is my financial data secure?

Yes! All your data is stored locally on your device using encrypted Isar database. We never transmit your financial data to any servers. You can also enable biometric authentication for extra security.

How does SMS auto-import work?

With your permission, the app reads SMS messages from banks and payment services to automatically detect transactions. All processing happens locally on your device. You can disable this feature anytime in Settings.

Can I use the app offline?

Yes! Mudra Manager works completely offline. All features are available without an internet connection since everything is stored locally on your device.

How do I set up budgets?

Go to Budgets tab → Add Budget → Select category, set amount, and choose time period (monthly/yearly). The app will track your spending and alert you when you're close to the limit.

Can I split bills with friends?

Yes! When adding a transaction, select "Split Bill" option, add participants, and choose how to split (equally or custom amounts). The app will track who owes what.

Is the app free?

Yes! Mudra Manager is free with all core features included. We may introduce optional premium features in the future, but essential functionality will always remain free.

How do I change the app language?

Go to Settings → Language → Select your preferred language. The app supports multiple Indian languages.

What if I lose my phone?

If you've exported your data regularly, you can restore it on a new device. We recommend setting up automatic backups to cloud storage for peace of mind.

How do I delete my data?

Go to Settings → Data Management → Clear All Data. Alternatively, uninstalling the app will remove all data from your device.
